Spiteful Room and Shadows

 Spiteful room

 We were given an image of a young child room filled with bright colours and toys. It contains 2 units and a bed as the main furniture and the task was to change the room into a room of a spiteful 90 year old. The main changes I made to to room was changing the bed into a wire frame and changing the cabinets into solid wood. To show that the owner of the room was spiteful I tried to make it look derelict by showing wallpaper peeling if the walls and a few cobwebs. 

Shadows

We were also given the task on drawing shadows, we were taught how to map out shadows using the horizon line and asked to try it for some objects. The object I tried was a table with 3 light sources on it, the most difficult part of this exercise was working out the shadows of the table legs and where they would overlap.
